After I have paid how do I proceed to download the file? After you have processed your order and paid for it you, you will find a page titled "THANK YOU FOR YOUR PAYMENT". At the bottom left side of that page you will find the words "Return to Merchant".
(1) Click on "Return to Merchant" . That will take you to the "LOGIN" dial found on the home page.
(2) Log in again using the Username (e-mail address) and Password you created when you initially logged in.
(3) You will be connected to the page where you will find the files containing the information you have requested/ordered. Alternatively, you will find on the left side of the page the word "DOWNLOAD". Click on it and it will take you to your files.
(4) You can then proceed to save the files on you computer hard drive or disk.
(5) You can safely open them after that and print.
Note: The downloadable files will only be available for a few days before they are deleted, in which case you will no longer have access to them. We therefore suggest that you download them as soon as possible (if that is what you want to do).
My parents used to claim me when I wasn't required to file taxes. Now I am working and would like to file my own taxes. Can my parents still claim me? Yes. However, if they claim you, then you cannot claim yourself. In this case you have to remind your tax preparer that someone else will be claiming you. This will allow the tax preparer to check-off the appropriate section on the tax form. Keep in mind that when someone else claims you, your refund (if you are due any) may be smaller. Similarly, your tax obligation (if you were to owe taxes) may be more.
